Overview

Saner CVEM 6.6.0.4 is a maintenance release focused on bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Resolved Issues

Patch Management

  • Fixed an issue where patch automation rules could skip eligible patches due to severity evaluation inconsistencies
  • Fixed an issue where patch remediation could fail with the message “Remediation not available”
  • Fixed an issue where missing patches could be inaccurately reflected in the console in certain scenarios
  • Fixed an issue where device counts shown in Approved Patches could differ from those in the Missing Patches view
  • Fixed an issue where devices could fail to appear in the Deploy phase after the Test phase completed successfully
  • Fixed an issue where links in patch notification emails could be inaccessible

Vulnerability Management

  • Fixed an issue where duplicate pagination text could appear in the VM Dashboard’s Vulnerable Devices table

Network Scanner

  • Fixed an issue where credential-based network scans could incorrectly show a Partial status despite valid SSH credentials
  • Fixed an issue where scheduled network scans might not run at the configured time
  • Fixed an issue where network scanner task settings such as Scan Type could reset to default values after refreshing the task page

Agent Upgrade

  • Fixed an issue where agent upgrades could fail on systems running Amazon Linux 2023

Performance Improvements

  • Performance improvement multiple areas of the platform, including the Individual Device page, Dashboards and Agent Diagnostic Tool (ADT) log collection

Upgrade Notes

For SaaS environments, the platform update will be applied automatically, and no action is required.

Saner Agents will be upgraded automatically for accounts/sites with Agent Upgrade set to Automatic. If this setting is disabled, agent upgrades will not occur unless it is enabled.

For On-Prem deployments, upgrades will be scheduled and communicated separately.
