We’re excited to expand Saner Platform’s capabilities with powerful ITSM integrations. This release introduces a new integration with ServiceNow and significant enhancements to our existing Freshservice — making Saner CVEM remediation more seamless, automated, and efficient.
Introducing the New ServiceNow Integration
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of ServiceNow Integration for Saner Platform! This integration bridges the gap between ITSM and cybersecurity by automating the creation of change request tickets for vulnerable assets — enabling a smooth, end-to-end patching and remediation workflow. It empowers IT and security teams to respond faster, reduce manual effort, and strengthen overall security posture through real-time synchronization and automation.
Key Capabilities:
- CMDB Synchronization: Configuration Items (CIs) discovered by Saner CVEM are automatically updated in ServiceNow’s CMDB, keeping asset inventory accurate and continuously updated.
- Automated Change Request: When a missing patch is detected for a vulnerable asset, a Change Request is automatically created in ServiceNow.
- End-to-End Remediation Flow: Each Change Request captures affected assets, associated CVEs, and patch/mitigation details; upon approval, a remediation job is triggered in Saner CVEM, and the corresponding ServiceNow ticket is updated and auto-closed with relevant notes after successful remediation.
- Bi-directional Status Updates: Updates between both platforms for full traceability and reduced manual overhead.
Freshservice Integration Upgrades
We’ve enhanced the existing Freshservice integration to deliver a richer experience and tighter alignment between IT operations and cybersecurity.
Enhancements:
- New Look and Feel: Refreshed UI for a more modern, intuitive, and responsive interface.
- Automated Change Request and End-to-End Remediation work flow: Missing patches on vulnerable assets automatically trigger Change Requests, and upon approval, remediation jobs are executed with tickets updated and closed post-successful remediation.
- Endpoint Management Capabilities: Simplified and direct navigation to Saner CVEM for device-level actions, streamlining endpoint management tasks.
- Cyber Hygiene Insights: View Cyber Hygiene Scores for individual devices.
- Security and Compliance Statistics: Visibility into posture anomalies, misconfigurations, and vulnerability exposure statistics.
- Real-Time Agent Status Visibility: Added visibility into Saner Agent status and actions performed on devices for improved monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Enhanced Remediation Interface with advanced filtering and patch categorization: Apply missing patches, monitor remediation jobs, and view all installed patches at a glance.
