We are excited to bring you our latest release – SanerNow 6.2.1. This release offers exciting enhancements, and bug fixes.
What’s New in SanerNow 6.2.1
SanerNow Remote Access Enhancements:
We have introduced new enhancements in SanerNow Remote Access – our proprietary, highly secure, on-demand remote support tool to help IT administrators respond quickly to end-users IT issues remotely.
Unattended Access: The “Unattended Access” functionality introduced in this release enhances the efficiency of administrative tasks without relying on user availability. This enhancement allows administrators to access a remote machine even if the screen is locked or the user is not logged in.
- On a locked workstation, the administrator can use the “switch user” option, log in with their credentials, and perform the necessary tasks without expecting the remote user to unlock the workstation.
- On a machine where the user has not logged in (common in server-class machines), the administrator can still access the system by switching the user. Admin needs to log in with the credentials and perform the necessary operations.
In-session support for User Access Control Elevation Requests: Using SanerNow Remote Access, the IT administrator can provide the credentials to the UAC prompt without interrupting the remote session.
Multi-User Session Support: IT administrators can easily switch between different user profiles on an end-user machine during an ongoing remote session without disconnecting the session.
On-screen shortcut keys: We have introduced virtual keys that can be used individually or in combination to perform tasks on an end-user machine during a remote session.

Enhanced Custom Remediation for Applications Requiring Private Patch Access: While creating remediation jobs for applications that need patches to be downloaded from the vendor-protected sites or custom remediation through SanerNow PM (Patch Management), we now provide options to enter or edit Patch Name, Patch Version, and Release Date.
Agent Config on the Managed Device page: We have enhanced the Managed Device page and added a new column –’Configuration,’ to display the agent’s configuration applied for the device, allowing you to view the SanerNow Agent configuration on the Managed Device page without being re-directed to the Control Panel page.
