SecPod’s Default Cloud Security rules are based on leading global compliance frameworks and specifically tailored for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
Designed with industry best practices in mind, this benchmark offers standardized rules to evaluate the configurations of specific GCP resources. Compliance results are displayed directly on the dashboard for enhanced visibility and accessibility. The rules can be enforced globally across the entire GCP organization hierarchy (including Organization, Folders, and Projects) or regionally within specific GCP regions, depending on business requirements and regulatory mandates.
The benchmark framework continuously scans GCP resources and services against selected compliance standards, either on a scheduled basis or on demand. During assessments, it identifies configuration gaps and compliance violations, categorizing findings as “Pass” or “Fail” to clearly indicate the compliance posture. This structured evaluation approach streamlines risk identification, strengthens governance, and accelerates remediation efforts across the GCP cloud environment.
